Abstract

The rigorous academic environment in nursing programs can significantly impact students' psychological well-being and academic performance. This review explores the relationship between mindfulness, emotional intelligence (EI), and academic outcomes among nursing students. Current literature suggests that mindfulness and EI are essential for improving emotional regulation, reducing stress, and enhancing cognitive performance, thereby fostering better academic results. This review synthesizes findings from multiple studies to provide insights into how mindfulness and EI can be leveraged to improve academic success in nursing students.
